BNY and Galaxy have formed a strategic collaboration to deliver digital asset custody and staking through a single institutional services model.
Galaxy will provide digital asset and data centre infrastructure, while BNY contributes its global institutional client base, as the two firms advance digital asset infrastructure for institutional markets — including staking, a process that allows eligible digital assets to earn rewards, on BNY’s Digital Asset Custody platform.
Beyond staking, Galaxy is serving as a design partner on further enhancements to BNY’s digital asset platform infrastructure. BNY’s staking offering and related infrastructure enhancements remain subject to regulatory review.
